MipTec is proud to offer free registration for all those young scientists from everywhere around the world who pre-register online for MipTec 2008 (www.miptec.com). Additionally, we offer a limited number of travel grants to young scientists who submit oral or poster abstracts of outstandingly high scientific quality.
These stipends are available to post docs / students attending universities, technical and research institutes as well as Fachhochschulen and are a part of the MipTec Program and Award for Young Scientists.

BioValley Life Sciences Week 2008 / Systems X Day
Parallel to the MipTec Conference 2008, the BioValley Life Sciences Week 2008 and the Systems X Day, will take place at the Basel congress centre from October 14-17.
The Life Sciences Week aims to offer a platform to experts and executives of the economic region of Basel, on which strategies and innovations in the domain of Life Sciences can be discussed and debated within a wide audience.
The interaction between MipTec and BioValley Life Sciences Week offers an excellent opportunity for networking and information sharing to the participants.
