Badges
Access to the scientific sessions will only be possible with your personal badge which you will receive at the registration desk in Basel.
Please always wear your badge!

 

Currency
All official meeting prices are indicated in Euro (€).
The currency in Switzerland is Swiss Francs (1 € = 1.63 CHF as per September 2008). All major credit cards are accepted in most hotels, restaurants and shops.

 

Dates of MipTec 2009
Tuesday, 13 October 2009 through Thursday, 15 October 2009.

 

Exhibition
The vendor exhibition with companies presenting state of the art technology and solutions, is located in the Exhibition Hall (Hall 4.1) at the Congress Center Basel.
Onsite passes to the vendor exhibition and scientific sessions are available for € 50.– at the registration desk located in the Exhibition Hall.

 

Insurance
The meeting organizers cannot accept liability for personal injuries sustained, or for loss or damage of property belonging to congress participants or their accompanying persons, either during, or as a result of the meeting.

 

Internet Corner
Several internet terminals are located in the exhibition area and are available to all congress participants during the opening hours of the exhibition.

 

Language
The congress language is English. Simultaneous translation will not be provided.

 

Lunches
Light lunch is offered in the exhibition hall. Subject to availibility.
