The excitement and support for MipTec continue to grow; we are building on the success of the 2009 conference to bring you the premier European drug discovery event with new and exciting topics presented by world renowned experts. This is also a very exciting year for all of us because we are adding new partners. MipTec is proud to invite you to the unique Life Science event in Europe jointly organized with the BioValley, the Swiss chemical society, the ILMAC and the Friedrich Miescher Institute in Basel.
The last conference in October 2009 was the most successful event for MipTec in history: Close to 100 exhibitors, more than 50 presentations from world renowned experts in biomedical science and drug discovery, and a record number of more than 3’000 attendees. We have been delighted by the positive spirit throughout the conference, the seamless interactions between academic and corporate scientists, and the steadily growing number of user group meetings. The overwhelming positive feedback has obliged us to put even more effort into the organization of the next MipTec. We are further expanding our scientific program to go far beyond the original focus of MIcroPlate TEChnology into all areas of drug discovery and development. You will get expert insights from highly recognized speakers from across the world and, this year more than ever, you will have the opportunity to interact with a broad international scientific community as there will be scientific presentations for the 40th anniversary of the FMI, Basel, and from the SCG with the focus on cutting edge polymer chemistry.
